$5 Million Milestone
Members attended the Minnesota State Convention this year in Wilmar, MN. As part of the awards ceremony, the Otter Tail County Chapter was awarded the $5,000,000 milestone. These leveraged dollars have provided over 4,600 acres of local public hunting and habitat. Recent Activities include:
- Acquisition of 156 ac in Orwell Township to be added to the Ridgeway WPA
- Pheasants Forever Youth Mentor Hunt at Viking Valley Hunt Club
- Supported the PF Farm Bill biologist position in Otter Tail County
- Acquisition of 57 ac in Tumuli Township to be added to the Nicholson WPA
- Youth Trap shoot event at the Lakes Area Shooting Center
- Provided PF Ringneck memberships for loacal graduates of Firearm Saftey
- Supported PF's efforts to promote CRP and conservation impacts of the Farm Bill.
